Right-to-KnowIf you have a business in New York City storing hazardous substances or chemicals, the time to act on Right-to-Know filing now!

Community Right-to-Know (RTK) regulations require all NYC businesses that store or handle potentially dangerous substances to inventory and track those materials and file an annual report.

If you need to file, chances are you already know. But, just in case, the most common business types affected are auto dealerships and repair shops, dry cleaners, funeral homes, certain types of commercial buildings and manufacturers.

Penalties for failure to report can be significant–up to $20,000 — so filing on time is imperative. If you need a hand with your RTK filing, Walden is here to help. Give us a call — March 1 is right around the corner!
