Chris Collaro joins the Walden team as our summer engineering Intern!
Chris will be graduating from Hofstra University in December 2018. He has been studying engineering, and will receive his Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. Chris originally went to school for exercise science, but had a change of heart and decided to pursue engineering. His interest in infrastructure and design inspired him to learn more about engineering and he is now enjoying learning about structural engineering and the environmental aspects of engineering.
In his early years studying engineering at Hofstra, Chris interned with a company where he learned about asbestos and the abatement process. He was thankful for the experience, as it solidified his interest in environmental engineering. While with Walden, Chris hopes to learn about the business aspect of Walden and how engineering firms run and operate. Walden is a client focused firm, where we pride ourselves on communication and the relationships we build with our clients. We are excited to introduce this concept to Chris, and help him build client skills that will help him well into the future.
In his free time, Chris enjoys working out, weight lifting, and going to the gym. Chris is a certified personal trainer.
